Pros and cons of all inclusive caribbean resorts adults only?

the price is much higher but is it worthy?
like in Jamaica
I stayed a lot in all inclusive Caribbean/Mexico
but Never at adult only
What about going solo?
will I look strange
I am middle aged

Cons, once in an all inclusive resort you find that the sand takes hold and you never leave the resort till they tell you to get on the bus to leave. This is why they have very nice tour desk to help you go see the island. Plan on that as your only extra expense and your set.

Pros, same as above to some extent. You know how much the vacation is costing, have paid for it up front so no surprises when you get home (if you keep your phone turned off).

The all inclusive resort now becomes key to cost, what is AT the resort to do that you want and you already have decided on adults only.

SO, now the resorts. The ones I have been to fall into two types. Pay for the staff to be in fancy uniforms, towels on the beach chairs and drinks brought to you with a room that has been built with in the last 7 years. OR, you carry your towel with you to the chair, you go get your own drinks and the staff is in nice clean clothing that is not all that fancy.

The night life at the fancy resorts we have been to have shut down around 9pm, the pools close at sunset or shortly after and the ppl mostly cpls who want to be in bed by 10 for fun and sleep.

One resort, yes only one, stays rocking till 5am, has pools that close just to be cleaned for a cpl of hours at diner time . Disco bar till 5am, Piano bar opens at 9:30 and tends to go till 1:00, hot tub rocks from about 11PM to sun up depending on who is at the resort.

We have been to an all inclusive, ADULT only resort often and there are single females all the time.
You will not look strange and almost everyone will be middle aged there.
